Diagnostic Ultrasounds is commonly used to visualize muscles, tendons, and many internal organs, to capture images of any pathological lesions. It is a safe and non-invasive form of medical services diagnosis.

Joint Injections (intra-articular injection) can be used in the treatment of inflammatory joint conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, tendinitis, bursitis, and osteoarthritis. These injections can also be used to remove excess fluid. Alternatively, the hypodermic needle can also be used to administer hyaluronic acid into the joint in place of missing bursa fluids.

Nerve Conduction Studies can be used to look at the ability of electrical conduction of the motor and sensory nerves. Trigger Point Injections are used to treat specific areas of muscle that are particularly painful, also called trigger points. These knots of muscle are created when muscles cannot relax. During the injection, a solution is administered into the patient’s trigger point which carries a local anesthetic. This numbness will allow the muscle to become inactive and bring pain relief to the patient. It can also be used to alleviate myofascial pain syndrome when other treatment options are not effective.

Supartz Injections carry a solution of highly purified sodium hyaluronate that is injected directly into the knee joint to restore the cushioning and lubricating properties of joint fluid.

X-rays are another commonly used diagnostic technique. In this procedure, your chiropractor will be able to physically see the health and structure of your bones and joints.
